Meet
The centerpiece of the district is the Puerto Rico Convention Center, widely known as the largest and most technologically advanced venue in the Caribbean. And if 600,000 square feet of space wasn’t enough, the newly inaugurated 44,000-square-foot plaza at Distrito T-Mobile houses outdoor stages and the region’s largest LED screen.
Dine
No matter what your delegates are in the mood for, there’s a restaurant nearby to satisfy their cravings. A few steps from the Convention Center, the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino offers six dining options, including Texas de Brazil steakhouse, Choices Urban Bistro, The District Lounge & Sushi Bar, and Metropol, a Caribbean eatery.
Right next door, Distrito T-Mobile offers 7 restaurants, including Barullo, Lupe Reyes, and La Central by Mario Pagan, 2 bars – Arena Medalla and La Barrita Del Lado– and an ice cream and churro eatery called Dulcinea. You’ll also find a mix of American chain restaurants and neighborhood eateries in the surrounding Miramar area. Exciting new additions are expected in the future.
Stay
A variety of hotels in the heart of the district give you plenty of options for rest and relaxation. Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino offers just over 500 guest rooms, an expansive casino, a spa, and an outdoor pool, plus more than 35,000 square feet of meeting space.
Hyatt House San Juan and Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center offer rooms and suites designed for business travelers, plus a wide range of amenities. Recently inaugurated, Aloft Hotel San Juan Convention Center brings an additional 175 rooms, plus a bar, infinity pool, and state-of-the-art fitness center.
Celebrate
There is no better place to celebrate than Distrito T-Mobile. This experiential complex combines the best in global retail, destination dining, art, and entertainment. In addition to a 10-screen Caribbean Cinemas VIP movie theater and Coca-Cola Music Hall (a mixed-use performance venue with a capacity of 4,000 people), you can also experience Toro Verde Urban Park, which features zip lines that soar over the Convention Center District.
