The Puerto Rico Tourism Company was founded on August 17, 1970, under the administration of Governor Luis A. Ferré. Since then, it has been the main engine for the development and promotion of our island as a world-class destination.
During these five decades, we have worked tirelessly to diversify our offerings, develop first-class infrastructure, and position Puerto Rico on the global tourism map.
